Requirements Needed in Opening Account

Kindly do well to have the following requirements:

  • Complete an Account Opening Form
  • Attach a passport-sized photograph
  • Provide a valid Ghana Card ID
  • Submit proof of residence (e.g. utility bill, sketch to the residence, etc.)
  • A valid resident permit is required for the non-Ghanaians resident in Ghana
  • A letter of introduction is required from one of the following individuals: 1. A holder of a current account 2. Employers 3. A reputable individual of good standing (e.g., a senior public office holder, a recognized professional such as lawyers, doctors, accountants, senior banking officials, or reputable religious leaders) - subject to verification and confirmation by the Bank.
