PBL Mobile Payment Service (mPay) is a solution that allows merchants to use a mobile phone to generate bills for payments by their customers. Customer payments are made from their Mobile Money or PBL account. The solution enables multiple cashiers/sales representatives to create bills and accept and confirm customer payments.
This service is targeted at fast-food service providers, merchandise retail shops, pharmaceutical shops, and any retail business that wants to accept payment by mobile money in an easy, customer-friendly, and verifiable format. The service can be run on the simplest phones (no need for a smartphone).
